Optimum FS Non-Spill System

Download Brochure

The patented Optimum FS non-spill system by FUELlink Systems has a unique design to prevent fuel spillage, deter theft and reduce or eliminate the potential of fuel tank contamination.

The fuel nozzle and receiver unit both feature a unique cam-based coupling that positively and securely locks the fuel nozzle to the vehicle during filling and automatically engages the built-in venting system to avoid pressurising the vehicle’s fuel tank.

The receiver is retrofitted to most vehicle in 10 minutes and replaces the existing fuel cap whilst adding features such as tank venting during filling and automatic closure when the nozzle is removed after fuelling has completed. The unique design prevents tank pressurisation during fuelling, contamination with foreign matter, cross contamination and fuel siphoning from the tank.

The nozzle is compatible with standard hose fittings and a pressure-sensing unit inside the nozzle is activated when the fuel within the vehicle’s tank reaches a pre-determined level. This automatically closes the main valve and prevents further fuel being dispensed into the tank. An easy to see indicator pops up indicating when the tank is full and to inform the operator that fuelling has been completed. No additional connectors or complicated cable assemblies are required.

Anti-Siphon

Anti-siphon technology fitted as standard.

The unique, dry-break receiver prevents foreign matter such as paper, wrappers and other debris entering the vehicle's fuel tank. By preventing debris from entering the tank in the first place, the risk of break downs due to foreign matter in the tank is eliminated, ensuring that your vehicles are on the road for longer and removing a potential maintenance bill to fix a roadside break down.

The Optimum FS receiver not only prevents from foreign matter entering the tank, it also prevents fuel siphoning from the vehicle due to the anti-siphon technology integrated into the design.

Incorrect Fuel

Cross contamination between Diesel and AdBlue is prevented.

While the receiver prevents against siphoning, the nozzle prevents theft through the filling of unauthorised vehicles because the receiver and nozzle are designed to work in conjunction with each another. The cam coupling ensures that it is impossible to fill a vehicle fitted with a conventional fill point, thus ensuring that unauthorised vehicles cannot draw fuel.

The receiver is connected to a tank level detection unit that fits just inside the neck of the vehicle fill point which stops the fuelling process when the vehicle's fuel tank reaches a pre-determined level. To maximise the amount of fuel in the vehicle's tank, and to speed the fuelling process, the system has been designed to reduce aeration thus minimising fuel foaming. Foam can reduce the amount of fuel held within a vehicle's fuel tank, thus reducing the vehicle's operating distance. A foam-free fill maximises the available fuel and distance travelled between fuellings.

The unique coupling system for dispensing Diesel means that there is no possibility of cross contamination between Diesel and AdBlue.
